Our Story
Our studio has been a beloved part of the community since 1998, bringing families and friends together through the joy of creativity. When we moved here from New York over 15 years ago, we never imagined that one day we'd have the opportunity to continue its legacy. In 2018, that dream became reality when we purchased the studio, thanks in part to our daughter who worked with the previous owner and introduced us to this wonderful place.
With a background in accounting, I spent years working behind a desk, but I found myself craving something more connected and creative. Owning the studio has been the perfect blend of both a space where art, community and family come together.
It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch generations of families walk through our doors, creating memories and masterpieces side by side. I love seeing all the unique and creative ways people express themselves through paint, every piece tells a story and being part of those moments is truly special.
What to Expect
You will be greeted by our friendly staff, who will explain the process step-by-step. Feel free to browse our inventory of ceramics. We carry a wide variety of pieces for a fun, creative experience for all ages and artistic abilities including drinkware and dinnerware. Please note that although our items are food safe once they are glazed and fired, we do not recommend using the dishwasher or microwave, please hand wash only.
The price of the item itself is displayed on our shelves. The studio fee, which is half the price of the item (up to a max of $12), covers paints, glazing and firing in the kiln. We do not charge based on the time spent in our studio. You are welcome to take your pieces home if needed, and complete them there with our pottery to go option! Bring them back once they are completed, with your claim check and they will be glazed, fired and ready for pick up typically within 3-5 days.
